EnvHub requests permission to access websites so it can display the environment indicator. We only inject the indicator on sites you've configured—never on other sites. We don't read your data, track your browsing, or access anything beyond what's needed to show the indicator.

Yes! EnvHub is built from the ground up on Manifest V3, Chrome's latest extension platform. This means it's future-proof and will continue working as Chrome phases out older extensions.

Yes! EnvHub has special Shopify integration that can detect preview theme URLs and display the theme name. This is especially useful for Shopify developers working with multiple theme versions.

By default, no. Everything lives in your browser's local storage — no analytics, no telemetry, no idea what you're building. If you sign in and turn on cloud sync (Pro), your project config and review data sync through our servers so your devices stay in step. That's opt-in, and you can export or delete it any time.

No. EnvHub has no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry. We don't know what sites you visit, what you configure, or how you use the extension. Your privacy is completely protected.

EnvHub uses Chrome's sync storage, which means your settings can sync across devices where you're signed into the same Chrome profile. This sync happens through Chrome's built-in sync system—we never see or access this data. You can use Export/Import for manual transfers.

The extension code is readable in your browser's extension directory. We believe in transparency and have nothing to hide.

Try these solutions: Change the display mode to something less intrusive (like Label), adjust the position, reduce the size, lower the opacity, or enable "Push content" mode which moves the page content instead of overlaying it.

This can happen if Chrome clears extension storage. We recommend regularly exporting your configuration as a backup. If you have Chrome sync enabled, your settings should restore once sync catches up.

Yes! Press ⌘+Shift+E (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+E (Windows) to open the popup, then flip the EnvHub toggle at the top — or toggle individual environments from the same panel.
