Terms of Service

By installing, accessing, or using the EnvHub browser extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

These Terms apply to all users of the Extension. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Extension after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

EnvHub is a browser extension that displays visual indicators on web pages to help developers identify which environment they are working in (e.g., development, staging, production).

The Extension is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice.

3. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal or commercial purposes.

You may:

  • Install and use the Extension on any number of devices
  • Use the Extension for personal or commercial development work
  • Export and share your configuration files with others

You may not:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Extension
  • Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Extension
  • Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the necessary rights to use the Extension on your devices
  • Maintaining the security of your browser and devices
  • Any configuration data you create and share with others
  • Backing up your configuration data if it is important to you

5. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including all code, design, graphics, and documentation, is owned by EnvHub and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

"EnvHub" and the EnvHub logo are trademarks. You may not use these trademarks without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • • Non-infringement
  • • Accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Extension

We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENVHUB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Extension
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data
  • Any accidental modifications to production systems

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages arise from contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EnvHub and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Extension or violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the Extension. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your license to use the Extension will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which EnvHub operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EnvHub regarding the Extension and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
